I’ve always been skeptical about electric shavers due to the fact that all of the ones I’ve had in the past were unreliable and didn’t give a close shave. More often than not the others that I’ve tried in the past would leave me with ingrown hairs and razor bumps. They seemed to struggle with my coarse beard, and would get dull after just a few uses. Not this one!
This new Panasonic Vortex is a totally different story. It is hands down the best shaver that I’ve ever owned. It is incredibly fast and provides the closest shave that I’ve ever gotten from an electric shaver. And, I don’t get the ingrown hairs and irritation that others have given me in the past. This is one close shaving machine and very fast. The charge life is amazing as well. After shaving my face and head, it still had 80% charge remaining. Its speed makes it noticeably faster because one or two passes and you have a razor blade close shave without pulling and tugging on your beard. I have a very coarse beard and it doesn’t seem to bog down this shaver at all. It just buzzes right on through effortlessly.

As I mentioned, I use it on my scalp too. It is awesome in that aspect too as it gives an incredibly close shave with no irritation. The wet dry option makes it even better, and I seem to get a closer (straight razor close) shave using it in the shower with a shaving gel. I’ve been use Nivea Active3 shampoo body wash and shave gel all in one with it with no issues whatsoever. For the price, this is well worth it to have such a reliable, fast, and powerful shaver.
