I am very satisfied with the Norelco 7810 shaver at this time. I feel that I am getting a very close shave after a short brake in period of a couple of days. The charge doesn’t take very long. The shaver feels very comfortable in my hand and is very quite.
I’ve always used Norelco, but last year when my old one died I changed to Panasonic ES8043SC Pro-Curve Pivot Action Linear Wet/Dry Shaver, and wasn’t happy with it. I used that one for a year, and it never dod a good job on my neck unless I pushed real hard, then it would cut me. (Luckily, I droped it and it shattered so I needed a new razor)

This one is VERY quiet, and does a better job than the Panasonic. Close shave, not as close as a blade, but close enough. Relatively quick, and no blood to date. I don’t know why they don’t have a battery meter (my 10 year old one that died did), but so far just charged it after 3 weeks for fear it would all of a sudden die. Like the fact you can rinse it under hot water to clean it.
